Client:

Our client is an acquisitive, mid-sized New Haven based public accounting firm with a 90 year history of serving a robust and sophisticated client base. After acquiring a Fairfield County based peer firm, they are poised for serious growth.

Role:

With an eye to the future, they seek a well-tracked and networked audit professional who wants to become a Partner. The ideal candidate will be a CPA and have at least five years of financial statement audit experience gained with a public accounting firm. A passion for client service and a business development mindset are crucial attributes. The incoming Manager will maintain and develop client relationships as well as direct the work of Staff and Seniors. S/he will supervise and review engagement planning and help to develop professional staff.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification and/or a Bachelor degree and Master degree in Accounting.
  • CPA qualification.
  • 6+ years of external audit experience, ideally with exposure to financial services and insurance sectors.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills including leading teams.
